4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our websites and billing platform use cookies or similar storage required for authentication, sessions, shopping carts, preferences, security, and fraud prevention. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information to distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse. We do not currently use cookies for targeted advertising.
You may block cookies through your browser, but required features such as login, checkout, and account security may stop working.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives information needed to process transactions, detect fraud, comply with financial regulations, and provide payment services. Stripe’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.
6. Discord Features
If you choose Discord login, account linking, or Discord integration features, Discord and Paradise Hosting exchange information necessary to authenticate your account and provide those features. You may unlink Discord through supported account controls, although records needed for security, billing, or legal compliance may be retained.
7. Hosting Platforms and Infrastructure
We use Paymenter for billing and customer management and Pterodactyl for server management. These applications are hosted on infrastructure controlled or rented by Paradise Hosting. We may also use data-center, network, email, domain, security, backup, and infrastructure providers to deliver the services.
8. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to service providers that help with payments, hosting, networking, email, fraud prevention, authentication, backups, security, and support; when required by law or valid legal process; to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety; in connection with a business transfer; or with your direction or consent.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Customer Content
Customers control the content they upload to hosted services and are responsible for having permission to collect or process personal information through that content. Paradise Hosting may access customer content when reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain security, investigate abuse, comply with law, or operate the service.
10. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, security, dispute resolution, tax and accounting, enforcement, and legal compliance.
Account, invoice, and transaction records may be retained after account closure where required for legitimate business or legal purposes. Server files and backups may be deleted after cancellation, termination, nonpayment, or refund. Technical and security logs are retained for periods appropriate to their operational purpose. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups before rotation or deletion.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, authentication protections, logging, updates, and restricted access. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your password, Discord account, API keys, bot tokens, and hosted-service credentials. Never send sensitive credentials through a support ticket or ordinary email.
12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. You may also object to or request limits on certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or request a portable copy where applicable.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
13. Children and Teen Users
Paradise Hosting is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts or use the services. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
